Bloop. Some updates! There’s Games I Own reviews, some music, a couple of sprites, and a Bomberman update that could’ve been a lot more substantial if I had the patience to work on it. Recapping a game’s content in a blank, encyclopaedic manner only has its kicks for so long. Sometime!

Playing catch up. Did I ever talk about the revamp of the Bomberman shrine? I’m tired and have a cold and barely remember. Either way, I’ve uploaded what I’ve finished of it, as a lot of the content has been kicking about for a few months now. There’s not much new! The revamp was mostly to ditch all that horrible Frontpage code, and so I can upload all the stuff I hadn’t before, like magazine scans and manuals and stuff. A lot of that stuff had only been posted on the Bomberman Board, but now you can access it from the site. Whoop.
Will the shrine see much updates in the future? Aheh. The best I can say is “I’ll see what happens.” You should know by now that anything I start goes hideously unfinished.
I haven’t checked the uploaded version extensively yet, but I didn’t encounter any problems viewing my offline files. If there’s any cock-ups, let me know.
Also, some music for the game music page. A lot of it’s been sitting around for months, too! You can tell which ones are leftovers from months ago by how long the song descriptions are.
Well, September was a bit of a tizzy. Harking up and down across the country to attend a course during the week and then being too exhausted during the weekend to do anything. That routine hasn’t exactly changed, it’s just I had the pleasure of getting a cold and spending the whole week in one place, which helped me gather my bearings, I guess.
I watched Dark Star. This is the first film I’ve watched since the start of September, and man, I didn’t realise how much I missed that little routine! (I think the last film I saw was Dragon Ball Evolution. It was a decent little romp. My dad described it as something to the effect of “Buckaroo Banzai on crack.”)
You know it’s a Ragey review when it wonders if it’s even worth summarising the movie’s plot.

Watched Bio Hunter. This was one of the many anime VHS tapes we had years and years ago (the batch of tapes that made my brother and I major fans of Ultimate Teacher and Cyber City Oedo 808, and also exposed us to the incredibly corny English dub of Laughing Target), but I’d never watched it properly until now. I caught the first scene when ripping it from VHS before I got rid of it, and it’s hardly something you forget – a chick and a dude are having sex, and then the woman gets the munchies, so her breasts turn into mouths and chew his arm off. It’s the very first scene you see, so you know it’s gonna leave an impact.

Haven’t been up to much at all lately, I’m afraid. Life is mildly busy – mildly busy in the sense that I have stuff to do, even though said stuff is not exactly interesting, productive or even worth bothering with, but I guess just doing it is better than raising a stink about the issue. I suppose saying life is mildly boring would’ve been more accurate. My current events have been mildly boring. Perhaps on the verge of moderately boring!

I actually meant to get talking about Bomberman: Act Zero, like, the very day after that last blog entry, but I continue to astound myself with my overpowering sense of laziness. Has it seriously been nearly a week since my birthday? This entry, for instance, I’m trying to sit down and write it but I apparently just decided, hey, let’s read some of my older entries. Why? I don’t know, I just did, and it took me a few minutesto remember what I opened the file for in the first place.
And that reminds me, there’s clothes in the washing machine that have been unattended to since this morning. See? That’s the kind of absent-minded laziness I am so easily prone to. It sickens me.

After over five weeks of avoiding responsibility, I finally made a characters and intro page for Cadillacs & Dinosaurs, as well as a comic comparison page which took longer than was necessary to make, but was a lot of fun. I hope reading about the show was close enough to the enjoyment I got from watching it!
Today’s my birthday. I actually had no interest in talking about it, because, well, what is there to say? RQ87 made the event worthwhile by sending me a birthday present! I totally wasn’t expecting this, but in hindsight, I guess I totally should’ve, it’s like the one thing he leaps to when we begin discussing the series. Once I realised the package was from RQ I was in a bit of a giggle fit because AW SHUCKS SOMEBODY LIKES ME :), I totally had a big stupid smile on my face…
