I take it most folks remember the orchestral take on the Super Smash Bros. Melee soundtrack? I believe fans in the United States got it when subscribing to Nintendo Power, but readers in the UK got it free with issue 137 of ONM, which they made a big song and dance out of, dedicated at least three pages just to the track listing. Frightfully nice of them! Of course, you can probably grab it now from any number of JRPG-inspired game soundtrack sites where all the files are encoded at a beautifully-fuzzy 128kbps, but where’s the magic in that?
