Stage 1: Swamp Attack

A largely gimmick-free world. There is foliage that obscures enemies and objects beneath it, as well as bridges that enemies and bomb blasts cannot cross.

Boss Area


Bakkelon (バケロン) very slowly pursues Bomberman.
If Bomberman shares its X/Y axis, it'll transform into a flame with 4 circling embers and float to Bomberman's position. The flames will detonate any bombs, but can be destroyed with a bomb blast.
If any bombs share its X/Y axis, it will fire up to five leaves in downward-diagonal directions, transforming whatever they hit. Bombs will become Apple items, Louies turn into slow-moving turtles, and Bomberman into a rabbit that cannot lay bombs. These transformations will revert after 7 seconds, though the bombs are permanent.
Requires 6 hits to defeat.

Plantman / : Pursues Bomberman, but only changes direction at every second junction.

Lizardman / : Moves slowly. Only changes direction upon hitting an obstacle.

Trent / : Disguises itself as a soft block until it's approached or bombed. Moves slowly and aimlessly.

Gueru / : Slowly hops 2 tiles at a time. Periodically stops for a breather.

Buster Slime / : Only changes direction upon hitting an obstacle.

Dragonfly / : Can pass through soft blocks. Changes direction at every second junction.

Core Mecha Walker 1 / : Moves slowly and aimlessly; turns at every junction. Will drop a Core Mecha when defeated.
