Lewysia: I'm not angry....but what do you mean 'the back of your blade'?
Kotetsu: Huh? Oh um... It's not using the pointed end of your blade during battle, and avoiding to injure the opponent too harshly, well.... I guess to put it succinctly.... it's holding back.
Lewysia: Ah! So that's what it is! I learn something new all of the time!.... though during our battle you didn't use your blade at all...or so I thought?
Kotetsu: I know it's a strange way to apply it, there's no need to think of it that deeply!

Kotetsu: So my next opponent is the Golem Bomber? This is an opponent I can't hold back against!
Golem: Gah? Gozaru?
(Translator's note: I was afraid of this....okay....Kotetsu ends his sentences with 'Gozaru'. It's a polite (and very very old) way of speaking, and as such has no real English equivalent. If you watched Kenshin before that's where is 'That it is' came from. Or if you watch Gintama now it's where 'I daresay' comes from. If it causes a big problem later, I'll just add 'I daresay' to Kotetsu's sentences later...)

Kotetsu: Why are you so angry?
Golem: I am not a gozaru.....are you...making..fun...of me?
Kotetsu: I'm not making light of you at all!
Golem: You said gozaru...again! I am angry! I will defeat you....

Father, this is the first letter I've written since I left home. In order to see how much I have grown since I started training I decided to enter the tournament. And now I stand as the victor. I know that the road before me is the correct one... and I am satisfied with my progress. From here on in I will continue training under my master.
