The blue hovering security pods do not count as enemies, but if Bomberman is in proximity they'll shoot a laser in a circular patten one tile out from their position, which can detonate bombs and destroy soft blocks.

Mujoe Base / ムジョー基地 (Mr. Meanie's Secret Base)

This stage is split across 4 screens, all played one after the other without returning to the map screen.

Mujoe Base 1

The sawblades will periodically move every few seconds, sawing through players and soft blocks.

Mujoe Base 2

Mujoe Base 3

The pink conductors will periodically generate electricity for 3 seconds, and are usually timed to trap you between them. Enemies are not harmed by them.

Mujoe Base 4

BOSS: Mujoe / ムジョー (Mr. Meanie)


Mujoe's mech will tower over the battlefield; so big that it will crush the arena with its hands! Its weakpoint is its cockpit, though when the building is crushed the weakpoint changes to the lit-up bulb on its abdomen; using Line Bombs are a good way of hitting them without having to time it. All the while, it will perform one of four attacks:
Its shoulders will rotate, shooting spike missiles that land on random parts of the arena with a 2-tile blast radius.
The forehead gem will glow, producing a huge laser blast covering the centre 7 tiles.
Its chest plates will expose two miniguns for 10 seconds: they'll try to get a lock on Bomberman before firing a single shot, and needing to try again. When Mujoe is damaged they'll try making random pot shots without a target.
When Mujoe is damaged the hands can extend, producing electricity conductors that will zap any number of the three horizontal aisles, changing which ones halfway through. Often paired with the shoulder missles, so pick your hiding spots wisely!
Requires 12 hits to defeat. 5000 points.

BOSS: MechaDoc / Dr.メカード (Dr. Mechado)


The beginning of this fight is against a troop of 18 Battle Grunts (戦闘員).
The yellow wave are defenceless, and will do nothing more but wander slowly and aimlessly around the arena.
The blue wave can now shoot a slow-moving laser that can detonate bombs, but can only be fired downwards.
The red wave are identical to the blue, but ever so slightly faster.
All grunts are worth 100 points.


Once the grunts are defeated, the doctor will plug himself in to a giant unicycle-riding robot. If you die to this form, you'll have to restart at the grunts again. The robot can only move sideways by hopping 2 tiles at a time, and has a variety of attacks it can use:
The robot will wave a paper fan, pushing all players and bombs in a specific direction.
Deploys waves of 4 bomb robots which will attempt to follow Bomberman; they only turn at every second junction and will detonate after 15 seconds with a 3-tile blast radius. Each one is worth 100 points.
Produces 7 bomb robots on balloons which eventually drop and explode onto the ground. Often followed up by waving the paper fan.
Deploys two pink balls to bounce around the arena, detonating any bomb they touch. Requires 2 hits to defeat, though will combust on their own after a while.
Create a cannon to launch five projectiles down each vertical aisle.
Requires 10 hits to defeat. 8000 points.

Police Robo / ポリロボ: Moves aimlessly, only turning at every second junction. Will get alarmed and speed up if Bomberman gets within 2 tiles of it. 200 points.

Tsumigame / つみガメ: Only changes direction upon hitting an obstacle. Will begin hovering periodically, allowing it to pass through soft blocks. When bombed, 4 smaller turtles () are freed, which are faster and move aimlessly. 300 points.

Cyber Mouse / サイバーマウス: Moves aimlessly. Can fire a mortar ahead 2 tiles, used to destroy soft blocks but can also detonate bombs. Requires 2 hits to defeat. 400 points.

T2001: Slowly pursues Bomberman. Can imitate another enemy's apperance and speed by colliding with them. 200 points.

FinalZ / ファイナルZ: Moves aimlessly, stopping periodically to fire a missile that can destroy soft blocks. Requires 2 hits to defeat, dumping a regular Battle Grunt out of the robot. 500 points.

Gattainα / ガッタインα: Moves aimlessly, turning direction at every second junction. Can pass through soft blocks. 300 points.

Gattainβ / ガッタインβ: Moves aimlessly, turning direction at every second junction. 300 points.

Gattain / ガッタイン: If the α and β Gattain units unite, they merge into this enemy. Slightly faster, it stops periodically to punch forward 3 tiles, breaking soft blocks. Requires 2 hits to defeat. 800 points.
