"Mori" is Japanese for "forest". The kanji title is "planet of ground/land".
Some stages have rocks that form briefly every 7 seconds; walking into it will trip Bomberman up for a second.
Bombs cannot be placed on the bridge, and enemies or bomb explosions will not cross them.
You must blow up the tree to create a bridge to the right side of the stage.
Earth Bomber (アースボンバー) can lay one bomb with a 3-tile blast radius, and keeps his distance when bombs are on the field. If Bomberman is on his X/Y axis he may perform a rolling attack, curling into a ball and rolling to where Bomberman is standing; during this state he is invulnerable, cannot change direction, and will detonate any bombs he collides with. He will usually stop where Bomberman was standing when he began the attack, and takes a second to uncurl and become vulnerable again.
If you have enough power-ups, you should usually have enough range and speed to blast him with ease. Fighting without power-ups is somewhat more difficult, though if you can keep your distance and lure him into using his roll attack, that should be enough time to lay a bomb nearby and for it to detonate once he's vulnerable.
Requires 3 hits to defeat in the Japanese version, and 2 hits in the English version.
Trent (トレント) will walk from side to side and perform one of several attacks.
If it covers its mouth with its branches, it will spit three projectiles downward - one straight and two at slight angles.
If Trent shakes its head, it will bend forward and drop four bombs in a 'T' formation, all with a 4-tile blast radius. Running its branches across its 'head' will unleash 4 leaf enemies that pursue Bomberman for 7 seconds before despawning; they move at Bomberman's default speed (without Speed Ups), so keep moving! They are worth 400 points each.
Lastly, Trent may move downward in a straight line before returning to its usual path if Bomberman is directly below it. Get out of the way!
Since Trent moves on only one axis, placing bombs shouldn't be too difficult; know when to stay close and when to keep your distance, as the projectile attack and leaf enemies can catch you unawares. Teebo can make this fight a cakewalk if you exploit its special attack; holding R1 until Teebo flashes and then releasing will freeze all enemies for 8 seconds, even the boss itself! This is more than enough time to lay bombs in a good position, and nothing's stopping you for using it again immediately after the effect has worn off.
Requires 6 hits to defeat in the Japanese version, and 5 hits in the English version. Worth 10000 points.
A yellow spherical rabbit-like creature.
Normal ability: Jumps in the air 2 tiles forward, allowing it to leap over blocks and bombs.
Special ability: Leaps high into the air, freezing all enemies (and even the timer!) for 8 seconds, before landing with a bounce, which detonates all bomb on-screen.
Pyonta (ピョンダ): A brown generic thing with ears. Bounces 2 tiles at a time with no noticeable pattern. Pauses for 3 seconds after bouncing 8 times. 100 points.
Mo-Mo (モーモ): A bull head. Pursues Bomberman when in proximity, but can only change direction every 3 tiles. If it sees Bomberman it will charge slowly in that direction until it collides with an object, stunning it for 4 seconds. 100 points.
Pakupaku (パクパク): A green snake. Moves randomly. If it encounters a bomb it will swallow it, removing it from the field; Pakupaku will move slower for the remainder of the level. 200 points.
Kong (コング): A little brown monkey. At the start of a level they will climb into a tree and throw bananas at Bomberman if he gets within 6 tiles below the tree. Getting hit with a banana will stun Bomberman for 2 seconds. Bombing the tree will knock Kong to the ground, where they will pace around aimlessly, but will usually be climbing the tree again within 8 seconds. 200 points.
Mogumogu (モグモグ): A mole with glasses. Travels slowly underground, during which period it cannot hurt Bomberman or be harmed, then emerges for 3 seconds; if Bomberman is nearby it will drop a bomb before submerging, with an 8-tile blast radius. 200 points.
Armadillong (アルマジロング): An armadillo. Wanders aimlessly, changing direction every 3 tiles. If Bomberman shares its X/Y axis it will curl into a ball and move faster to pursue him. 100 points.
Core Mecha (コアメカ): A roaming machine carrying a crystal. Moves incredibly slowly with no real direction. Drops a crystal when destroyed. 400 points.
