A rebranding of the Bomberman B-Daman toyline continuing with its late-run aesthetic of thematic armour and giant mecha. Many of the toys in this line feature the ability to combine their parts in different ways, changing a suit of armour into an animal steed or a trio of vehicles into a gestalt robot.

Three of the Five Dastardly Bombers in animal-themed "Jark Mail". The armour can fit onto the B-Daman figure to form a weapon, shield, chest guard and backpack, or the pieces can connect to the helmet to form a bio-creature (邪悪変形). These are based extremely loosely on a triceratops, a bat, and a coelacanth respectively.
The Dastardly Bombers' colours and stickers have changed since their Super Bomberman 2 release; their eyes are white and less exaggerated, Plasma Bomber is now green (canonised in Super Bomberman 3), and Brain Bomber is now grey.
The Jark Mail armour was apparently released in limited edition Sparkling (スパークリング) red, blue and green variants in January 1996 [src]. What they look like and where they were sold is currently unknown.
The name "Jark" (ジャーク, sometimes romanised as "Jerk") is an alternate spelling of the kanji "邪悪" ("jyaaku"), meaning wicked or evil. It's an uncommon spelling that seems to almost exclusively be used for beasts and monsters in other Japanese media, including the Rainbow Jerk Wind in Zoids and the Jark Matter empire in Uchu Sentai Kyuranger.

A large suit of armour for a B-Daman figure to wear, equipped with a sword and shield. The Windam Mail has wheels in its base allowing it to roll around, and squeezing its backpack will push the B-Daman's trigger. Striking the crest between its feet will eject the top half of the armour from its wheeled base; the sword can be positioned so two Windam Mail toys can 'joust' each other to try and aim for the weak point. | |
The toy can be converted to Majin Mode (魔神モード) by stowing the sword arm on its back and the shield arm inside its helmet. A B-Daman figure can 'ride' on this mode by attaching it to where the Windam Mail's arms used to be, using the peghole on its hand. |

A series of translucent plastic B-Daman figures with animal-themed clip-on armour, shields and backpacks. Two of B-Daman figures and all three armour sets can combine together to form a Griffon (グリフォン) steed that another B-Daman figure can ride on. Limited edition versions were later sold that cast the armour in different coloured plastic: first a black variant in March 1996 [src], and later a purple variant in July 1996 [src]. It's unknown what venues they were sold at. |

RRP3980 Yen ReleaseNovember 1995 |
A bipedal mecha with a triple-barrelled cannon built into the chassis, a cockpit for a B-Daman pilot to ride in, and arms and legs with basic swivel articulation. The only assembled required is attaching the magazine cover, canopy and target panel. Packaged with Sparkling White Bomber (スパークリング) and 20 marbles. |
The magazine drum on the back can carry over 20 marbles, which feed into the cannon through a tube. Turning the flywheel on its right arm (sculpted to look like a shield) will rotate the barrel as it fires marbles, though its firing strength is relatively weak.
This toy was later redecoed for the BB-Daman Bakugaiden IV toyline as B-04 Black Gatlinger. |
