All of the maps in Grad are split into four enclosed areas. The only way to travel between them is to enter a hard block with a door in it (all hard blocks have doors, but the doors open and close at random - which way they take you appears to be entirely randomised).

Instead of hard blocks, every round is gridded with blazing fire. Touching it will kill Bomberman. Enemies can pass through it safely. Be very careful when changing direction in this level - be sure you're dead centre on a junction so you don't accidentally walk into a wall of fire.
