It was colourful, I guess? Eclectic graphic design aside, its reviews were forgettable, its news unexciting, and its letters pages felt it combined the worst of early-N64 and pre-GameCube ONM&#8217;s letters. Yes, that is an <i>incredibly<\/i> specific complaint to make, but if you&#8217;re familiar with them, you&#8217;d know!<br \/>\nEven its &#8220;dumb letters&#8221; column felt hackneyed, like even its readers weren&#8217;t trying hard enough.
