I wrote an entry for the 26th that focused on that Bomberman site I mentioned in passing a few months back, and just stating that I never really did much work on it at all and kind of gave up because I can play only so many rehashes of the first game's gameplay before I go mad, so don't be expecting any it or any other surprises for the remainder of this year.
And then I forgot to upload that entry so whoops lol

CHRISTMAS IS OFFICIALLY RUINED FOR TWO REASONS
Why, you ask?
Firstly, ITV AREN'T SHOWING JINGLE ALL THE WAY
That movie MAKES Christmas for me. And without it, WHAT'S THE POINT
The other reason is the fact there's a new version of DeSmuME released, so it can actually not run like a piece of crap. For the most part. Sadly, the 3D still isn't in and it's still miles away from being perfect, but little progress is better than no progress, I suppose. On the bright side, Bomberman DS runs better, I can actually start up Kirby Canvas Curse, but one game is perfectly, flawlessly emulated.
A game that makes me ANGRY.
ELF BOWLING 1 & 2
>:[
of course never mind the fact elf bowling is a pretty simple game and therefore would be easy to emulate but this is a blog, not thinking things over properly central

So I was at my brother's place last night and we did absolutely nothing except play crappy games and watch crappy movies and eat ice cream. Tons of fun!
I also got to see the first thirty minutes of The Fast and the Furious and The Fast and the Furious: Tokyo Drift, and despite the latter having two great laugh out loud jokes, there's really not much in the way of cars and car racing in it. The first one had like three action scenes in the first ten minutes whereas Tokyo Drift has a decent race, a great joke and a southern hick looking moody all the time. Plus, the first one has Vin Diesel, versus Tokyo Drift having nobody in particular except uncountable measures of wonky fashion sense.
No contest.
Mini-rants that were originally fleshed out but are really pretty stupid are: There's an ice cream van playing Jingle Bells despite the fact a child could die in the cold out there, Yggdra Union has better sprites than most games with direct interaction and that makes me sad, and despite the fact I completed it a while ago I simply can't complete Bomberman Wars again. Don't know what's up.
After three years of not seeing it, I saw School of Rock. A friend of mine said it was brilliant, it came 9th place in one of those Top 100 Comedy Films shows Channel4 shows all the time, and my brother said it was awful despite never seeing it. Then again, he said the same thing about Scrubs and My Name Is Earl without watching them, and when he did, oops, he liked them! He's a wacky funster, that Steve.
And while I certainly enjoyed it, I think maybe 9th best comedy ever (voted on by the British public, claimed the show) is a bit of a stretch. The music is, as to be expected, pretty damn rockin', and the comedy was good, but 9th best comedy film ever? If this were an audio blog I'd be going "hmmmmmmm" and "ehhhh" for about two minutes here.
So yeah, while I recommend watching it, I definitely wouldn't call it the 9th best comedy ever. Probably the best feel-good film ever, though, what with it being precisely that while, you know, actually being awesome.

SOMEONE BROKE HALF OF MY TOASTER
NOW IT TAKES TWICE AS LONG TO MAKE LUNCH
And the worst part is, I have a hunch that Anthony John Clarke is the man that did it. Prove me wrong, Clarke. Please. :{
