The Death-Bringing Space Insects!!
| |
We're first shown a planet which doesn't get named in this episode, but Hellbat has been sent there by Leozack to look for something, and he complains that he always gets sent out on the weird missions. As he walks around he enters a dark dace and something drops down from above onto his right shoulder. He grabs it to take a look only to be greeted with a screech from a disgusting green bug with large fangs.
Later on Leozack is being shouted at once again by Deszaras, but this time he has a plan that must surely work. Deszaras says that he's always saying that but this time he may be right, as they have an insect known as Dorya in their possession. Actually, they have lots of them captured and Kakuryu thinks they're all really cute since he likes bugs, and then takes them up to show Deszaras.
Leozack explains that these bugs are extremely rare and that now that they've bred a few they can
be used as a powerful weapon, as they will eat the metal from super-robot life Transformers. He then decides to give Deszaras a demonstration and since Kakuryu doesn't know any better and still thinks that they're cute little things, releases them into the room... only for them to all come back to him and start to eat him alive.
Drillhorn finds a piece of Kakuryu's body that had fallen off and throws it back into the capsule, and all of the Dorya go back in. With the bugs safely contained once more Kakuryu is taken away for repairs as the test ends in a total success. Now that the Decepticons have this new weapon, they can go and use it on the Autobots, and Deszaras knows that they have the power to accomplish such a task.

Outside Shuttle base, Jan is training in the Illumina II with Victory Leo, and is trying to break a slab of rock but can't quite do it. Holi starts laughing at him and so Jan just ploughs into him instead, saying that you should always be on your guard at all times. Victory Leo agrees and says that Jan got Holi good for once this time.

Meanwhile Star Saber is out going to investigate an incident at a place called "Egg Rock" - the ruins there have been destroyed and the Autobots think that it might be something to do with that it was rumoured oil was underneath these ruins, so the Decepticons may have been trying to get at it for energy. He soon reaches his destination and heads down into a crater but can't find anything of interest.
Suddenly four towers spring out of the ground above and activate a barrier which means that Star Saber cannot leave the crater and the barrier drops down acid rain which starts to drain Star Saber of his energy so he can't put up much of a fight. Deszaras and the rest of the Brestforce then appear and Deszaras says that he's got a present for Star Saber.
Leozack then releases the Dorya and soon hundreds of them are inside the crater with the Autobot leader, and start to crawl all over him. All he can do is try to wipe them off before they start to eat him but with barrier in place he still can't escape as Deszaras explains that super-robot lifeforms are what the insects like to eat best.
Back at Shuttle base the Autobots are getting concerned as they haven't heard anything from their leader for a while and cannot get through to him either. Blacker says that they'll have to go to Egg Rock and he, the other Brainmasters, Jan and Holi blast off in Galaxy Shuttle whilst Victory Leo heads out in his space fighter mode, leaving the Multiforce to keep trying to contact Star Saber at the base.
As the Autobots arrive, the Brainmasters charge but are noticed by Hellbat, who has a barrier canon which shoots a beam that severely limits the movement of any Transformer it hits. Both Blacker and Laster are hits by it and they can't make it past Hellbat, so they withdraw and explain the situation to Victory Leo. He says that he'll destroy one of the towers as this should switch off the barrier whilst they distract Hellbat.
Unfortunately Victory Leo can't knock down the tower and isn't given enough time to keep trying as he gets hit. Jan sees this and goes to help him in the Illumina II and also gets blasted but strangely he doesn't seem to be effected by it. Victory Leo takes him back and the Autobots re-group where they realise that because Jan's mecha isn't made out of super-lifeform material like Transformers are, then this particular type of beam won't effect it.
With this information, the Autobots reckon that Jan should be able to make a hole in the barrier and that is the only way to get to Star Saber at the moment, so as Blacker, Braver and Laster go and distract Hellbat again, Victory Leo takes Jan towards the barrier, and he jumps through it creating a hole as they'd hoped for. Victory Leo follows him in, but the hole then closes again afterwards meaning that there are now two Autobots trapped inside the barrier. Look, this wasn't my idiot idea.
Now that Victory Leo is with them, the Dorya see a new meal on the menu and split up to attack both the Autobots at once. They move around to try and avoid them but they can't squish them as Victory Leo was about to try as doing so would make the bugs bleed, and their blood would melt the Autobots. Deszaras and Leozack and wondering how Jan got through the barrier and see that the Dorya are ignoring him but they think it doesn't matter as now they have the two top Autobots right where they want them.
Outside the barrier, Blacker's team are exchanging fire with the Decepticons when Hellbat gets a bright idea and sends his Brest animal over carrying a capsule full of Dorya to the Autobots, which is then dropped on them sending the insects everywhere. Hellbat sends more and more capsules towards them and soon the three Autobots have got a Dorya problem too.
Meanwhile Jan is trying to blast the Dorya off with Illumina II's exhaust fumes but there are too many. However Star Saber sees this and gets an idea: the Dorya seem to also be attracted to the heat the Autobots emit, so he tells Victory Leo, who activates his freeze beam, and sure enough the Dorya are frozen and cannot move. Victory Leo then blasts Star Saber, and all the Dorya on him curl up and drop off.
They then try to get out of the barrier, but only Jan can make it through - Star Saber and Victory Leo are still trapped. So Jan runs towards one of the towers and before the Decepticons can stop him, rams into it a few times until it breaks down and collapses. This deactivates the barrier, and Star Saber unites with Victory Leo to transform into Victory Saber, who soon gets out of the crater.
The Decepticons start to drop like flies with Leozack being shot down and Drillhorn being blasted, so Deszaras steps up to challenge Victory Saber but doesn't last that long, with one shot going right through his body.
Victory Saber then starts to destroy everything and there is soon a unnecessarily big explosion, but Deszaras and all of the other Decepticons manage to escape. Later on the Autobots stand around Jan and thank him for his courage to save the Autobot leader as we get to see that all that's left of the Decepticon plot is a pile of useless wreckage.
Once again, Galaxy Shuttle isn't seen again in the episode after dropping off the Autobots, despite the fact that his large size would have meant he could have easily destroyed those towers quickly. He's not even in the final shot of the episode. You have to feel sorry for Autobot buses.
