Fight!! Victory Leo

After the narrator starts things off with a re-cap of how God Ginrai was critically damaged in battle with Deszaras and that an operation is being performed on him to save his life and change him into a new robot, the episode starts proper. Perceptor's operation is taking place at Shuttle base, which has stopped on a small Hawaiian island. As he and Wheeljack work away, Holi tries to make Jan feel better by telling him how Perceptor is the Autobot's greatest technician.
 

As the operation goes on, the Multiforce detect something at the back end of Shuttle base, so Wingwaver and Dashtacker go and have a look only to find Hellbat spying on them. Dashtacker is put to sleep as Hellbat transforms and then flies away, but Wingwaver transforms into his two separate vehicles and go after him over the sea.
 

He escapes by diving into the sea where he re-groups with the other Decepticons and tells them that whilst out investigating an energy pool in America his sensors found Shuttle base, and then he tells them about the good news -God Ginrai is dead. Deszaras is pleased as with Star Saber injured also, this would be the ideal time to go out and take as much energy as they want, so they make a plan to steal energy from the place Hellbat was talking about.
 

Back at Shuttle base, the operation is complete and Perceptor and Wheeljack reveal their greatest creation. A large black and yellow robot rises up and God Ginrai is no more, he is now...
 

...Victory Leo. Star Saber welcomes him back to the Autobots as Blacker thanks Perceptor for his hard work. Now that Victory Leo has been created, Perceptor says that he will now start work on repairing Star Saber. Later on Jan and Holi are wondering why Victory Leo has been moved to another room by himself, and go inside.
 

There they find the new Autobot who makes them happy by recognising both of them. But he then tells them to leave and as they do he starts to clutch at his chest, something is clearly not right with him. Jan and Holi are thinking that they shouldn't have gone in there but are still pleased that he remembered their names, although he should have done given that he's Ginrai reborn.
 

Suddenly there is a large crash behind them and Victory Leo runs out of his room holding his head in his hands. He then transforms into his lion mode and starts to run around Shuttle base smashing into things, and then makes his way into the room where Perceptor and Wheeljack are healing Star Saber, Jan catches up with him and begs him to stop being so wild, and eventually, he runs off.
 

Perceptor tells them not to worry as this is normal, and that Victory Leo's mind and body aren't balanced yet and that the balance circuits are not fully functional at the moment. So whilst he knows that what he is doing now is wrong, he can't control himself and that it is his body doing the real damage, but time will eventually even this out.
 

An alarm then goes off as Blacker gathers the others to tell them that the Dinoforce and some of the other Decepticons are near a large energy truck on "energy road" in America - with Victory Leo in no condition to go out into battle and Star Saber not fully healed yet, Wingwaver volunteers to go with the rest of the Multiforce and soon they are rolling out.
 

Jan and Holi go back to Victory Leo's chamber and see that the rampaging Autobot has returned there, and appears to have calmed down. They both go to Jan's room where Jan shows Holi a picture of God Ginrai and expresses his hatred for Victory Leo as he tried to attack Star Saber. Infact, even though they say that Ginrai lives on inside Victory Leo, Jan thinks that Ginrai is dead for good.
 

The Dinoforce see the massive energy truck and stop it by destroying some of it's tyres. Before they can close in on it though the Multiforce arrive and transform into Landcross, who starts to beat them all up until they transform into Dinoking.
 

Sadly for the Autobots Landcross gets beaten and even when Laster and Braver are sent in to try and help, they get damaged in an explosion. Blacker says that he'll go but Star Saber says no as he isn't fully healed yet. Star Saber then decides to go but he can't even stand up but Victory Leo then appears and Star Saber decides to take a chance by sending him off to join the fight.
 

Victory Leo is soon out of Shuttle base and heads towards the battle in his space fighter mode. Within minutes he is there and easily bests both Leozack and Hellbat in aerial combat and soon has them both on the ground where he continues to show how powerful he is. Even Dinoking can't stop him as he has a chunk of metal taken out of his left arm.
 

Completely outmatched by this new enemy, the Decepticons transform and retreat as Landcross, Laster and Braver are surprised to see Victory Leo out so soon in battle. Later at Shuttle base, Star Saber says that Victory Leo is as powerful as they could have imagined but power is all he fights with and that they need to bring out the justice loving Ginrai in him.
 

Later on Star Saber summons Greatshot to Shuttle base and asks him to take over as the commander of the sector two force, He accepts but only on the condition that he can quite whenever he wants, which Star Saber agrees to. The Autobots then hear Victory Leo's howls and the narrator ends the episode by asking when will the day come when the true spirit of Ginrai comes out of Victory Leo?

The sector 2 base was the area of space which the Godmasters protect from Overlord and his group of Decepticons, and God Ginrai use to be the commander of it. But with this episode, Greatshot is put in charge of it.
