Planet Micro: The Mysterious Warrior

God Ginrai and the other Autobot Godmasters have a problem. They defend an area of space but one planet in their zone, planet Micro, is under Decepticon attack. But they can't respond as they are to busy taking on Overlord's group of Decepticons still and instead God Ginrai asks Star Saber to go out to Micro instead.

And so Star Saber, Galaxy Shuttle, Jan and the Rescue team all head towards the planet. Micro is actually the Micromaster's home planet and it's been a long time since any of them have been there. Holi in particular is getting a bit anxious to get there and the other Rescue team members annoy him by telling Jan that he has a girlfriend waiting for him.

As the Autobots come in to land another Autobot sees them and watches Galaxy Shuttle head in. A little later Star Saber's lot contact God Ginrai who is in the middle of a battle and says that Overlord's group is being persistent, and that's why he himself couldn't go to Micro. Later Star Saber says he'll go and try to find out what the Decepticons are doing on Micro and where they are and lets the Rescue team go off as they please for a while.

As the the Rescue team are going around they see Clipper, Holi's girlfriend, in a building and she works for the planet's government. Holi wants to introduce her to his team but she says that she's too busy and that he should give more notice when he's coming back next time. She then slams a door in his face and everyone laughs at him.

Meanwhile Star Saber is out looking at a devastated area and sees that one the Decepticons have stolen the energy they want, they just destroy the place they got it from. He finds out that there are supposedly three Decepticons, one is the brains of the operation whilst the other two do the blowing stuff up part. And then later on at a plasma energy generator those three Decepticons appear. One's Hellbat, but there are two new Transformers with him.

The new guys transform into their robot modes and their names are Black Shadow and Blue Bacchus, who instantly start to attack a city with their lasers, bombs, missiles etc, sending Micromasters running in panic and destroying many buildings.

And as the two new Decepticons continue to destroy everything Hellbat starts to steal energy. All of Star Saber's Autobots are talking to Clipper when word gets to them about the Decepticon attack. The Rescue team are the first out to start their rescue operation but before they can get there someone tells them to stop and up in the sky is a large jet. Who is it?

It's Greatshot, who simply transforms and land in front of the Autobots and tells Star Saber that he didn't need to come here and that it is his duty to fight these Decepticons. He then transforms again and leaves as most of the Autobots wonder just who this new Autobot is.

Star Saber flies after Greatshot and learns more about these new Decepticons, who are apparently backstabbing mercenaries who will take any job for the right price. Star Saber soon finds Hellbat but can't shoot at him as if he hits the plasma energy generator he'll blow them both up. Meanwhile Greatshot finds Black Shadow and Blue Bacchus, and says that he'll never work with them again and getting betrayed once was once too many.

The Decepticons chase after Greatshot who has transformed into his car mode, but he suddenly stops and transforms into his beast mode and grabs a hold of Blue Bacchus. He gets free though but Greatshot uses his ninjitsu teleport ability to appear behind them and then uses his sword to slice their laser weapons in half.

Hellbat then decides to blow up the plasma energy generator anyway and make off with the energon he's collected. He shoots out some of the connecting pipes which explode and will soon lead to the main generator exploding. He then tells Black Shadow and Blue Bacchus to pull out which they think is a good idea since they're both getting their asses kicked by Greatshot anyway, and soon the three of them are off leaving Star Saber and the others with the task of stopping the generator from blowing up.

Star Saber and Greatshot try to put out the fire as the V-Star returns having completed it's work in the rescue operations. Star Saber merges with it and sees that the fire is spreading to rapidly for them to put out and that if something isn't done within the next few seconds the generator will explode taking them and a third of the planet with it. He cuts around the bottom of the generator...

...and then using all of his strength he grabs the generator and takes it up into outer space, and after a few seconds it explodes. The Autobots on Micro fear the worst when...

....Star Saber returns and Micro is saved. And so during the next morning Greatshot bids farewell for now to Star Saber and flies away in his jet mode as Clipper asks Holi when he'll next be back on Micro and that the next time they meet he'll have to tell her everything about Earth and other stuff. This leads to Holi getting embarrassed and Jan starts to rub it in, leading to yet another "everyone starts laughing" ending.

This is the first and last appearance of both Black Shadow and Blue Bacchus.

Remember how in The Headmasters Rodimus Prime went off to find a new planet for Transformers to live on after Cybertron blew up? Some have speculated that it may be planet Micro. The main reason for this being is that Rodimus himself becomes a Micromaster in the Battlestars: Return of Convoy series.

Another hot topic for fans is that Greatshot might by Sixshot from The Headmasters. Because both characters have six transformation modes (which are all identical to each other, basically), both have "shot" in their names, Greatshot is someone who worked for the Decepticons before which is just like Sixshot, who left that side near the end of The Headmasters, the Greatshot toy was a retool of the Sixshot toy, both have ninjitsu powers and both of them were voiced by the same person. Whilst the last point doesn't prove anything I just thought I'd mention it.
