The Dub
Unfortunately at the time of writing I have still not seen the English language dub of the series. For those who are new to this, Super-God Masterforce, along with The Headmasters and Victory, were dubbed into English for broadcasting on the Malaysian channel RTM 1. However, these dubbed versions of the shows were later put onto the Singaporean channel "StarTV" where they gained much greater exposure and this is why the dubbed versions of the shows are often referred to as the "Star TV dub" or "Singaporean dub". Needless to say, the dubs are well known simply because of how bad they are, with terrible voice acting and a whole manner of mistakes in terms of character names.
Like I said I haven't seen the dubbed version of Masterforce but I have managed to pick some stuff up about it, and it seems to be as incompetent as The Headmasters. I will try and get a version of the series with the dub on it at some point so hopefully there will be some Youtube videos up sometime in the future.

*This character was given their American name. Whilst the works in a way for some characters, it just does NOT work for characters like Ginrai, who always refers to himself as "Optimus Prime" in the dub, even in his human form! The other bizarre thing the dubbers did was use different names for characters like Sixknight, calling him Sixshot for some reason.
