Go, Goshooter - Showdown in the Wasteland
Blood is giving the three Decepticon Headmaster Jrs a lecture and talks about the three ultimate energies that keep humanity alive. The first, Chichokon, is the ultimate energy that grants existence to life. Jinchokon is the ultimate energy that gives the rulers of all the living things on Earth, the humans, the strength to keep on living. Finally, Tenchokon is the ultimate energy of the growing Earth which is from the essence of the Earth itself. Blood says that if they steal energy from one of the three, mankind will collapse with the unbalance of power and they will use the stolen energy to become much stronger.
Meanwhile in the US, a young girl is just exiting a building when she sees some commotion ahead of her and then finds out that her brother is being forced into the back of a car. She tries to go after them but that gang of people capture her brother and then drive off. Elsewhere Shūta, Can and Minerva are shopping for food, it's their last night in the U.S. before they go back to Japan and to celebrate they are going to have a big barbeque. But before they can leave the girl stops them and begs for help, having seen Shūta's police car.
The girl, Mary, explains that her brother was part of a motorcycle gang known as the Jack Boys, and used to be friends with a guy named Wilder. The Autobots know who she is talking about as Mary goes on to say that her brother, Chris, no longer wanted to be in the gang and when Wilder joined the Decepticons he tried to leave, but now he has been taken back. She then has an idea where they might have taken him so they all roll out to the mountains, an hour away from the city.
Chris has already been taken back to the place where the group use to meet, and all of the other Jack Boys members are there, who are impressed by the Decepticon Transtectors. Bullhorn wants to beat up Chris because he apparently doesn't have very good opinions on the Decepticons but Wilder stops him and says that they now have the power to do what they want and they don't need to fear adults, or the police, or anything like that, ever again.
But Chris is not impressed and says that Wilder that has changed for the worse, and that he doesn't want to do anything with someone who goes around hurting innocent people for no reason, the Wilder he used to know wouldn't do that. Wilder reacts badly to this statement and punches his friend a couple of times and then kicks him whilst he's down, and then tells the other gang members that anyone who opposes him will not be forgiven.
The Autobots then arrive and demand for Chris to be released, only to be told that if they want him back they'll have to take him by force. Shūta instead hatches a plan, and says that he'll go off and distract the Decepticons whilst Cab goes and collects Chris. Shūta heads out to start his plan and the three Decepticons go after him as Cab secretly makes it to where Chris is.
However before he can actually get to Chris, Bullhorn spots him and forces him to retreat back behind a rock. He gives chase but his efforts are reward when Minerva kicks him straight in the face and knocks him down. Cab then transforms and tells her to go and rescue Chris whilst he helps Shūta fight the Decepticons.
Cancer then shows that he's got Mary in his clutches and the Autobots start to get beaten up by the Decepticons, who are safe in the knowledge that their cowardly tactics are winning the day. But Chris wakes up and sees that his sister is in danger, and quietly jumps down to the bikes before the gang members can stop him. He then rides one up a cliff and drives it straight into Cancer's head, causing him to fall over when the bike explodes.
Shūta catches Chris as he falls and with their rescue done, the Autobots transform and roll out, with both Chris and Mary now safe. The Decepticons try to stop them from leaving but their laser shots miss and soon all of the Autobots are gone, leaving Wilder's pride damaged.
At the ocean research institute, the party has begun and both Chris and Mary are guests. Mary thanks the Autobots for all of the help they have given her and Chris, but the subject of talk soon turns to food and everyone gets stuck into eating instead of chatting.
Chris then gets up and says how great it is to have friends, although he is still upset about Wilder and how all he talked about was power, and using it to get back at the ones that hurt him before. A person who joins the Decepticons will change, but he says that he will make a fresh start now, much to the delight of Mary.
Back at the Decepticon base, Gilmer is walking about saying that Wilder is still a weakling, but the energy sphere he is walking past suddenly blasts him and as he begs forgiveness, we get a closer look at the sphere. What importance does it hold?
This is the first episode to mention the different energy types, although why it does it here is a bit odd because they are never mentioned again in this episode after Blood explains them. But they will go on to become quite important in the series later on.
Goshooter is never used again after this episode, everyone refers to him as just plain Shūta instead.
