Battle to the Death!! God Ginrai vs. Darkwings Reborn
| |
With the Decepticon base now in ruins, Ginrai tells the others that the Decepticons will most likely get pretty desperate now and that they will have to be ready for whatever they try and do next. Wilder and Bullhorn meanwhile don't want to hang around and even though Cancer begs them to stay, they both leave, even when the others try to stop them. Bullhorn has no idea where to go but Wilder seems to have a plan.

The Decepticons have now relocated in the Amazon jungle where Devil Z tells them all that they next step they will take will be to destroy human life literally and wipe out the Earthling scum. Giga thinks this is a rash tactic but when Devil Z reminds him who is in charge he say's he'll obey. But later on Giga makes it clear to Mega that he'll do things his own way if it comes to that. Elsewhere in Overlord, Buster asks his brother why they cannot defeat God Ginrai.
Hydra's answer is that they are both weak because they both have weak human bodies and they do not stand a chance because of them. But if they become robots themselves they will both gain the power to defeat Ginrai and they can do this by asking Devil Z. The Decepticon leader commends their spirit and then starts the process where they will be reborn.

After some bright beams of light, the brothers appear in Devil Z's subspace and he tells them that once he changes them into super powerful robots, they will never be able to be "imperfect" beings again, but neither of them care and Devil Z uses his own power to change the two of them from being humans to being robots.
Soon the human element is stripped away forever as the two of them have been reborn and Devil Z says that they now have the power to defeat Ginrai. They go and tell Giga and Mega this, who can't believe they have both done something so stupid, but the brothers simply say that not only have they surpassed humans, but also Godmasters.
They then show that they are being serious as we get to see what they now look like for the first time, as Devil Z tells them all that they will now start a fresh assault against the Earth and that Hydra and Buster's now power will be important in the battle. All of the Decepticons then take off and head out to part of America.

And in a city in what seems to be the middle of nowhere, everyone is going around their normal daily lives when a large dark cloud appears and then suddenly, the town is blown off the face of the Earth.

As Metalhawk heads around the world on patrol he finds out that the Decepticons have attacked many places and contacts the others. Ginrai rallies the troops and says that this will not be an ordinary battle as there is a lot at stake for the future of the Earth as Grand has worked out that Devil Z must be somewhere in the Grand Canyon, so that's where the Autobots move out to.
After seeing the level of destruction caused by the Decepticon attacks however, the Autobots change their plans and Ginrai tells the other Godmasters to help out the injured in any way they can whilst he heads off with God Bomber and, for some completely idiotic reason, the Headmaster Jrs, to the Grand Canyon. As he gets there Devil Z blasts him before he can get that close.
As the Autobots land, Ginrai says that he will go on alone and tells the others to stay in God Bomber until he gets back. As he goes in though a familiar jet attacks him as Hydra and Buster transform to their larger robot modes and attack Super Ginrai, and then display that they've gotten stronger when they use "Devil power" against him.
They then explain that they are no longer humans and have become immortal, revealing that they have been granted robotic forms of their own thanks to the power of Devil Z. Like Giga and Mega, Ginrai cannot believe that the two of them have done that to themselves, but it is too late and as they get fed up of his preaching, they continue to attack him knowing that he can't become God Ginrai as God Bomber is with the Headmaster Jrs. The other Autobots have also got a fight of their own though as a group of Sparkdash have arrived.
As God Bomber detects that Ginrai must be in danger, the others all tell him to go and help him as they will be fine. As he leaves though they may have bitten off more than they can chew as the Decepticons close in, but suddenly some lasers come from behind them as Wilder and Bullhorn have arrived to lend them a hand, much to Cancer's joy.
Hydra and Buster have pushed Super Ginrai off a cliff which they think he'll never survive the fall, but God Bomber arrives just in time to save him as the two transform into God Ginrai. The brothers also transform into Darkwings and a large dogfight takes place through the Grand Canyon.
After this, the brothers show their new "Hellfire attack" and after covering themselves with pink energy, they charge straight towards the Autobot. But he says that they will never be able to defeat him now that they have given up their human forms, and charges towards them with his God fire guts attack, as they crash into each other.
After a huge explosion, Hydra and Buster have survived and whilst they are damaged, Hydra tells Ginrai that this battle has ended in a draw as they pull out. God Ginrai has also survived although his power is down as he lands back in the canyon.
Devil Z sees that his newly reborn warriors have weakened Ginrai, so he tells Overlord that now is the time for them to finish off the Autobot leader forever. As the others crowd around God Ginrai, he tells them all that he is OK and that he must now go and destroy Devil Z and save the world before it is too late, and gets the others to go and help Lightfoot and the other Godmasters.
But as Ginrai heads up into the sky, his next opponent appears: Overlord, who says that today will be the day that they will finish this, as the two of them square off against each other. As the narrator says, fight, God Ginrai!
This episode sets up the start of the end for the series, as the next episodes are all linked together as part of the final battle between the Autobots and Decepticons.
