Lightfoot: A Dramatic Encounter

At the International School, Shūta and Cab are swimming in a timed run, and Cab proves himself to be the true prince by winning the race and setting the fastest time ever. As everyone heads back to the showers, Cab wanders off on his own even though Shūta tells him that the locker room is in the other direction. What is he up to?

The little bastard wants to see Minerva in a swim suit, and has headed over to where all of the girls are to find her. Shūta sees what he is doing but soon joins in on the peeping, and Cab gets his wish, but only briefly because their teacher appears from behind and gives them a good shouting at whilst all of the girls shriek and are outraged with the two boys.

Later on when school ends Minerva has never been so mad at her two friends but they both finally apologise and she says that she'll forgive them just this once. With summer vacation coming soon the three of them want to do something and make some plans, and go off to ask Hawk if it's
okay. Hawk is at the base re-watching Ginrai's TV appeal but then says it's fine for them to go as long as they stay in touch.

At the Decepticon base, Buster can't believe that Ginrai has gotten himself a power-up and can now become "Super" Ginrai, but Hydra tells him that he is still just one person and that they can still take care of him, but they also need to find the other Godmasters. Hydra then goes on to say that he has a plan and tells his brother to follow him.

Ginrai has gone back to the TV station where the letters for the show come into, and he is given quite a few pieces of post addressed to him to go through. One is in a thicker envelope and he opens that first, and it quickly gets his attention as a picture of a robot falls out along with a letter from someone who lives in Canada. As Ginrai leaves, Hydra and Buster arrive thinking that Ginrai is here and demand to see him.
They find out that Ginrai is no longer here and left with a letter, but the producer guy doesn't know who the letter was from and Hydra gets more violent. But then the security team arrives so the Decepticons leave and meet up with Blood, Dauros and Gilmer in a scrap yard where they decide to split up to look for Ginrai as he can't be that far away. Ginrai is on his way to the British Motors manufacturing plant in Canada, which is where the letter he was sent came from.
Blood has noticed Ginrai out on the the road though and gets Dauros and Gilmer to meet up with him and the three of them secretly follow Ginrai. Their plan is not to destroy him straight away but instead wait to see where he is going and what he is doing, and then kill the Autobot and present their information and their foe's head to Giga, as it will make them look good in front of the Godmaster brothers. Ginrai reaches the British motors plant and is greeted by the young man who sent him the letter - Lightfoot.

Lightfoot says that he has been having dreams of a robot for about three months now and drew a picture of it, but he doesn't know why this is happening. He just says that a friend of his told him about Ginrai's TV appeal and told him that he should try writing in. He then gives Ginrai a quick guide to how successful their company has become, and that it was his father who built their first successful car after he took their family from Britain to Canada, although Lightfoot was only very young at the time. The car became so popular that it made the company famous throughout the world and that his father still has their very first car.

They go and see this
car as Lightfoot explains that it was made on March 17th, fifteen years a go, which also happens to be the same day as Lightfoot's birthday. Ginrai asks if he can go out and drive this car and Lightfoot lets him, although he really treats it roughly but suddenly comes to a stop and says that this car is not made from materials found on Earth.
Ginrai then asks Lightfoot to put these bracelets on, and tells him not to worry and that he's wearing them to. Lightfoot does this but he can't stop his wrists from crossing each other and within a second he suddenly has a suit of armour on as Ginrai steps out of the car and tells him to just say "Transform, God on!".
Lightfoot isn't sure what to do but Ginrai persists and as Lightfoot says the words, he magically leaps out of the car and merges with the car as it transformers into a robot, meaning that the Autobots now have a second Godmaster!
There is no mistaking that the robot Lightfoot drew a picture of from his dreams is the robot that he has transformed into now. Ginrai then gives him a quick low-down on what he has become and who the Autobots and Decepticons are, and whilst Lightfoot understands all this he wants to know how to change back. All he has to do is say "transform" and is about when the Decepticon Pretenders arrive.
And since Lightfoot has no combat experience at all, they think that they'll be able to destroy him now, even if he is a Godmaster. But Ginrai tells him to transform back and pick him up, and the two of them manage to escape from the three of them and make a break for it back to the British Motors manufacturing plant.
Now that he's with his Transtector, Ginrai merges and then takes on the Pretenders by himself, and easily knocks them all down. He then merges with his trailer into Super Ginrai, and none of the Decepticons can ever hope to knock him down. So instead, Blood tells Gilmer and Dauros to go and summon the Seacons whilst he tries to take Lightfoot hostage.
Lightfoot is starting to learn how to fight though and takes on Blood as Super Ginrai runs after the other two Pretenders, but Turtlar rises out of the river and merges with the other Seacons to form
King Poseidon. But, just like what happened last time when the two fought each other, the Decepticon gestalt is no match for him and is defeated.
And with their secret weapon gone, Dauros and Gilmer decide that it's time to leave and run away as Blood also sees from the sudden splash of water what has happened and orders everyone to transform and pull out.
Super Ginrai and Lightfoot watch them depart and then later on change back. It's good news as Lightfoot says that he wants to battle against the evil Decepticons but wants Ginrai to continue to be his mentor and teach him how to fight, and Ginrai says that's fine by him, but first, they must find the remaining two Godmasters. The narrator then finishes things by saying that whilst one more Godmaster has been found, there are still two more out there and how easy will it be for the Autobots to find them?
Lightfoot's father appears in a picture in this episode, and he isn't named. He will, however, appear in future episodes.
