G.I. Joe: The Movie

Lifeline checks over Roadblock and tells him that he'll be able to restore his vision, but there isn't anything he can do for Cobra Commander and that it seems the mutation effect is irreversible. Shortly after this the Rawhides arrive in a helicopter and they meet up with Flint's team who all then go off towards the Cobra-La base with Cobra Commander showing them the way in.
 

Cobra Commander suddenly slithers off and everyone sees that he has now completely become a snake. Tunnel Rat then spots another way past the plants and heads down to encounter the Dreadnoks, who were about to seal off a tunnel to stop the spores from getting inside Cobra-La when they are released, but the Joes beat them up and take their helicopters up and fire at the other Cobras.
 

Big Lob crashes his helicopter straight into the plants, which fall apart and release all of the captured Joes. Everyone then comes together to fight the enemy and Falcon tells Hawk that they need to shut down the B.E.T. before it's too late.
 

The Joes all run off deeper inside the Cobra-La base and Serpentor finds and tells Golobulus that they are under attack, but Golobulus says that they are too late and soon, the spores will detonate in space. But to make sure the Joes don't get through, Golobulus calls for all of the bases' organic life to come out and attack, and soon the Joes are attacked by large insect-like creatures.
 

Hawk tells everyone to get up to the palace where the B.E.T. is and they fight their way though the strange creatures of Cobra-La. Hawk takes Falcon, Jinx and Sgt. Slaughter up but they are attacked by large orange spiders. Hawk tells them to keep on going as he deals with them and soon they are in the chamber with the B.E.T.
 

They see that the B.E.T. is still on and approach it but before they can turn it off Serpentor, Nemesis Enforcer and Pythona appear and take them on. Slaughter takes on Nemesis Enforcer, Pythona attacks Jinx and Serpentor fights Falcon.
 

Serpentor throws one of his serpents at Falcon, which wraps around his neck to strangle him. But before it can kill him, Cobra Commander appears, still just saying "I once was a man!" and attacks the snake before Serpentor can stop him. Meanwhile Jinx continues to fight Pythona and, as she did earlier when she sparred with Beachhead, blindfolds herself and still manages to beat her opponent.
 

Golobulus separates himself and the B.E.T. from everyone everyone else as they continue to fight each other. Pythona is disposed of when she tries to charge Jinx over the edge, but she misses and falls to her death. Sgt. Slaughter gets the upper hand on Nemesis Enforcer and proceeds to really kick his ass with several wrestling moves. He then breaks one of his wings off...
 

...and throws him over Jinx and into the pit to join Pythona. And since one of his wings is broken, he can't fly out either so that's the end of him. Meanwhile Falcon grabs onto Serpentor and after a brief struggle, shoves part of Serpentor's cape into a fan which causes him to lose control. Falcon drops off and lands next to Golobulus whilst Serpentor crashes out of Cobra-La, and isn't seen again in the movie.
 

Golobulus then tells Falcon that no one defies him and lives and breaks away from his floating pod thing to reveal his snake like body. He batters Falcon around a bit and then starts to crush his skull, so Falcon grabs the time worm and...
 

...stabs Golobulus' left eye with it. Falcon then runs towards the B.E.T. and turns it off before Golobulus can get to him, and soon it powers down, stopping any more energy from being sent up to space.
 

Golobulus tells Falcon that whilst his actions are heroic, they are futile, as they have come to late -he then points towards a view screen which show that the spore pods have received enough energy and are beginning to explode, and in a matter of minutes they'll rain down all over the Earth and mutate everyone. Golobulus then gets back into his pod and flies away.
 

The Joes don't give up though and Falcon turns the B.E.T. back on. His only chance to stop the spores is to use the B.E.T. as a weapon, and he charges it up to maximum power and fires it off. A large yellow laser heads up and destroys a good chunk of Cobra-La and eventually reaches the spores, frying them all to a crisp before they reach the Earth.
 

The B.E.T. overloads and Falcon cannot shut it down again and it's in danger of exploding. Falcon tells Slaughter and Jinx to go back to the others and tell them to get out of here but they refuse to leave him behind and get him back across to their side buy Slaughter swinging Jinx over and Falcon grabbing onto her. They meet back up with the others who all start to run out.
 

Cobra-La then explodes entirely and a little later the Joes are all standing outside it's destroyed entrance. A radio message then comes in from Doc who tells them that Duke has come out of his coma, and so not only have they saved the Earth but their friend has also made it. As everyone heads back for home, Falcon and Jinx watch the stars to see the last of the spores breaking up and then follow the other Joes.

Golobulus is shown to just fly away after Falcon turns the B.E.T. off, but this is his last appearance in the G.I. Joe cartoon series -he was never bought back for the DiC series so most fans simply say he died when Cobra-La exploded. Serpentor however does survive as he was bought back for the next season.
