Super Bomberman Panic Bomber W

gameplay

A falling blocks puzzle game with the basic goal of filling your opponent's playing field to capacity.

Groups of 3 Bomberman blocks are dropped onto the field, and matching three of the same colour in a straight or diagonal line will erase them, producing an unlit bomb (火無し爆弾); matching four or more, or chaining multiple lines in one go, will produce increasingly more unlit bombs.
Every fourth drop will be a lit bomb (火付し爆弾), which will detonate in a traditional cross-shaped explosion wherever it is dropped; any unlit bombs caught in its blast will also be detonated. The more bombs that are destroyed, the more Burned Bombermen (コゲボン) will be dropped on the opponent's playing field.

Burned Bombermen are garbage blocks, and can only be destroyed with bomb explosions. In Dokuro Mode, Burned Bombermen are replaced with soft blocks which may contain a random status effect when destroyed - see Dokuro items for details.

The lit bomb's blast radius begins at 2-tiles, but it will level up by 1 tile by matching Bombermen, detonating bombs or otherwise through the course of normal gameplay. It caps out at 9-tiles.

In the middle of the screen is the Deca-Bomb Meter (デカ爆メーター); it fills a little for every block dropped, but increases exponentially for bigger chain-erases or multiple detonations. When it is full, your next drop will be a Deca-Bomb (デカ爆), a huge bomb that destroys all blocks in its huge square blast radius; whatever is destroyed will be sent to the opponent as garbage blocks.
