4-8 (vs. Mechaonita / メカオニタ)

Mechaonita pinballs around the arena at varying degrees. Hitting this boss with a bomb blast merely pushes it away unharmed. Your goal is to push the boss into the electricity surrounding the arena. Requires 17 hits to defeat.

World 5 is unique, as it is technically considered on long stage where you fight enemy Mechabombers one by one (you fight two at a time if playing in 2-Player mode). The timer is not reset between 'matches'.
Items will periodically spawn on random spots of the map, though the Mechabombers are just as capable of picking them up as you are.

Mechabomber / メカボンバー

You face eight of these one at a time over the whole world. The first four are are armed with only one bomb and the smallest explosion radius, and die in 1 hit.
The next three (green, pink and purple) require 2 hits to die but have the same equipment, though are a little more intelligent.
The last one is gold and has one bomb, maximum blast radius, kick shoes and a faster speed. An easy way to defeat it is to direct it in such a way that it gets trapped between its own bombs and yours. Requires 5 hits to defeat.

6-1

6-3

ENEMIES: U Metal x 2, Kuwagen x 3, Robokom x 3

6-4

This stage pits you against two Yoroisu / ヨロイス. They slowly pursue Bomberman and will charge at him on sight. They will block bomb blasts with their shields and are only vulnerable from the side or behind. Will move in the opposite direction when colliding with a bomb, which makes for easy luring and hurting. Require 8 hits to defeat.
"Yoroi" (よろい) stands for "armour".

6-5

ENEMIES: Pakupa x 3, Kuwagen x 2, Robokom x 3
ITEMS: Bomb Up, Bomb Kick, Time

6-6

ENEMIES: Kinkaru x 2, Meta Puropen x 2, Robokom x 4
ITEMS: Remocon, Wallpass

6-7

ENEMIES: Bakuda x 3, Kinkaru x 3, Robokom x 2
ITEMS: Full Fire, Remocon, 1UP

6-8 (vs. Spiderer / スパイダル)

When the Spiderer stops, it sprays bouncing bombs around that have a maximum flame range, and once they detonate it closes its eye. When it moves again the eye opens and the cycle repeats. It's only vulnerable when the eye is open. Requires 7 hits to defeat.

After the Spiderer is destroyed, you will fight the Uiteru V / ウイテル. Dr. Mook and Carat Diamond will fly around in their pod, dropping Skull items down. Colliding with the pod will damage Bomberman. Any bombs the pod flies over are immediately detonated.
The only way to harm them is to wait for a Power Glove and punch your bombs at them; dying will require you to wait for another Power Glove to spawn. Requires 5 hits to defeat.
