Requirements =============== IBM TM PC compatible Pentium 90 or faster 16 MB RAM Windows 95 2MB VRAM required with SVGA support 100% Sound Blaster TM compatible sound card DirectX 3.0+ 2. Playing Atomic Bomberman =========================== For those of you not familiar with Bomberman I will spare you the details. The dynamics of the game are as easy as 1-2-3. 1) Drop a bomb 2) Run, run, like hell. 3) Watch your back, your front, your side, just watch out! Here are some of your powerups: ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ Allows you to drop an additional bomb Allows your flame to shoot further Gives you some random "disease" Allows you to kick any bomb down a hallway Controls ~~~~~~~~ Only Microsoft Sidewinder gamepads are supported at this time. Other joysticks may work but there is no calibration facility. Keys during play: ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ Arrow keys - move your bomberman Space bar - drop a bomb Ctrl-D - disable debugging Ctrl-A - show list of all animation sequences defined Ctrl-R - toggle the remap editor screen F1 - help (review this file) F10 - quit current game (does equivalent of a draw game) 3. Known Bugs ============= * Networking -> Networking is still under construction at this time. * Game hangs on Interplay Logo. -> We are aware of this bug and are working to track it down. Any information that you could provide to "THE_BOMB@Interplay.com" would be helpful. * DINPUT.DLL not found. -> Atomic Bomberman requires DirectX 3.0 >. * Windows NT -> Does not fully function under Windows NT at this time. * Game apparently load's fine, however, after the "Loading Artwork" screen the screen goes blank. -> We are looking into the exact cause of this. It appears to be a problem with non-certified DirectX video drivers. -> More rare occasions with certified drivers. Known fix: Install DirectX video driver, then re-install your cards video driver on top. * Game Does not boot or hangs on Interplay Logo. -> If you do not have a sound card you will not be able to play this demo. The fix for this is in progress.
