Dreamhost was upgrading its servers and their status blog kept saying some sites would be down for awhile, so I refrained from submitting a support ticket until they said everything should be back online.

After several days and several status blog messages later, I finally figured the upgrades must’ve broken something and it wasn’t going to come back unless I acted on it. Submitted a support ticket, and they said it was caused by a discrepancy in the way the blog was configured and the way the database was configured. Yet, neither me nor Ragey changed anything.

My best guess is that this discrepancy existed since the blog was started, but it didn’t matter until the upgrades changed something.
