Ghost Hunter

Morrigan is watching TV, which is showing a report on the legendary Bigfoot been found. Morrigan moans to Demitri that he has not done very well in finding any more Darkstalkers. Demitri says that finding them is no problem, and gets Ship to display Darkstalker locations across the planet, although there are not many to display. Demitri goes on to say that whilst they can find the Darkstalkers, recruiting them to Pyron's cause is another matter entirely. Morrigan suggests that someone may be hunting out the Darkstalkers but Demitri laughs it off.
 

However down on Earth a Darkstalker who is a werewolf and looks an awful lot like Talbain (but isn't actually him) is walking across a beach when he is stopped by Hsien-Ko, who happens to be a Darkstalker hunter, much like Donovan. Hsien-Ko states that the Darkstalker has been found guilty of crimes against humankind, and the werewolf replies that he does as he pleases. Hsien-Ko kills this Darkstalker (you don't get to see them fight but it's revealed later).
 

The next day Felicia goes to give Harry a visit, her shows her a news story on his computer about the president of some company being attacked in South Africa. Harry says that there are no wild animals there and that it is most likely another werewolf Darkstalker that they have to find. Felicia isn't sure at first but eventually agrees and says that she'll ask Rikou to take a look.
 

Back on the spaceship Morrigan notes how another Darkstalker has gone and says that someone must be hunting them out. Demitri says he'll get someone to check it out. Meanwhile, Raptor is on the phone to Herb saying how awful this world tour Herb got him is, with only twelve tickets sold for last night's concert. Then Demitri's head pops up in hologram form and orders him to check out the area where the new Darkstalker was last seen. With nothing better to do, Raptor agrees.
 

Later on that day Raptor goes across the beach and finds Hsien-Ko meditating, and starts to fight her. However she quickly overpowers him by using her many weapons (and even manages to break his guitar) and then demands that he tells her the name of the one that sent him.
 

Just then Rikou pops up out of the ocean and Hsien-Ko believes that he is working with Raptor, and so gets into a fight with him. Raptor is beamed back up to Pyron's spaceship whilst Hsien-Ko and Rikou fight. Rikou tries to convince her that he is not evil but she refuses to believe him. Rikou ends up trapping her in a bubble and says that she must listen to him now.
 

Rikou explains about the evil Darkstalkers like Pyron and Demitri and says he had come here to find another Darkstalker, but Hsien-Ko says that she killed it due to it being evil and attacking people. Rikou releases her from the bubble and she explains her past. A flashback reveals how Demitri once came to their home and killed her mother, and then six years later came back for her and her sister Mei-Ling. They managed to get out of the house but Demitri chased after them.
 

Mei-Ling was caught by Demitri but she told Hsien-Ko to keep going and get away. Years later Hsien-Ko was just a wandering orphan looking for food, afraid to go back to her own town due to fearing that Demitri would get her. One day she went to a temple and picked up a bowl, believing there to be food inside. Not knowing what was inside she ate it anyway. This made the Lady of Mercy appear, who turned Hsien-Ko into an immortal ghost like creature. Hsien-Ko begged to be turned back into a human again but this was not allowed and she had to become the Lady's hunter.
 

The flash back ends and Hsien-Ko says she will one day find and destroy Demitri. Meanwhile back on Pyron's spaceship Raptor moans about his broken guitar whilst Demitri shouts at him for having no ability. Instead, he asks Morrigan to go down and sort out Hsien-Ko instead, so she is beamed down to Earth.
 

Morrigan quickly fires off some projectiles from above Hsien-Ko and Rikou. Hsien-Ko flies up whilst Rikou stays behind. Hsien and Morrigan fight it out, and despite the fact that Morrigan materialises a sword out of no-where Hsien-Ko eventually manages to pin her down. She asks if Morrigan knows where Demitri is, and makes a deal with her: She will let Morrigan live as long as she calls Demitri down so Hsien-Ko can fight him. Morrigan agrees to this.
 

Demitri beams down thinking that Morrigan can't handle it, but he is told that Hsien-Ko wants to join him. Of course this is a lie and Hsien-Ko and Demitri start to fight each other. Meanwhile Rikou finally shows up again and fights Morrigan.

After a few seconds of fighting Demitri grabs Hsien-Ko by the throat and says that she is now his just like the rest of her family were, but Hsien-Ko manages to knock him back, saying that he will never mention them again and now she will prevent him from being able to harm anyone else.

Hsien-Ko does this by spinning around really quickly with blades exposed and, hilariously, cuts off most of Demitri's hair. Demitri then charges up a fireball to blast Hsien-Ko with but then the sun rises up...

...and of course Demitri can't be out during this time, what with being a vampire and all. So he makes his coffin appear and gets in it. Rikou starts to fight Morrigan again even though Hsien-Ko says she can go free as she bought her Morrigan, but then Ship beams her back up...

...and then also beams up the coffin. Hsien-Ko tries to stop this from happening but is too late. Believing that she has failed in her mission, she breaks down but then the Lady of Mercy appears and tells her that she has done a good job so far in ridding the world of evil, and Rikou says that there will be another time for her to finally defeat Demitri. Hsien-Ko thanks them both and then tells Rikou that if he or the other good Darkstalkers need help, call her in someway and she'll find them, then she flies off. Rikou says he'll have to tell Felicia about this and then jumps into the ocean.

Back in the USA, Harry explains to Felicia about Hsien-Ko and how she now only hunts the evil Darkstalkers. Felicia is glad about this as they really don't need a second Donovan going around at the moment, whilst Harry wishes he could have met her. Felicia says they will most likely meet her some time in the future.

This episode marks Hsien-Ko's first apperance, she appears again later on in the series.

For some reason Pyron is shown standing about when Demitri tells Raptor how worthless he is, Pyron isn't shown at all otherwise in the episode though.
