Returning Home

When all the Commanders are defeated and all of the engines retrieved, Bomberman can finally return home. If you haven't recaptured all the monsters, then you can leave in the Bomber Shuttle and see the credits, but you'll be told to get them all.

Once you do get all the monsters, things go a bit differently.

Namely, this guy stops you and you have to fight him.

You defeated my commanders--I'm impressed. Not bad for a little kid!
Who're you calling a kid!? You want me to throw you in a cell too?

Wa ha ha ha ha! Don't make me laugh! You have no idea who you're dealing

with! A little boy like you is no match for my Chaos Power!

Would you stop calling me a kid? Who do you think you are, anyway?

Chaos Power? Humph! I'm not afraid of you! Take your best shot!

Foolish boy...Very well, then--prepare yourself!

After some trash talk, the fight begins. This guy has two forms, both with 10HP, and is quite nasty when you're unprepared. His first form involves flying around, creating bombs (not dropping, he can create a bomb in any part of the arena) with large blast radius and short fuses, teleporting when you're too close, sending two energy waves that leave no part of the arena untouched, and a long charge-up attack that just hurts you. Strap on the Leather Armour, keep the Wings or Jump Shoes handy, and have a circular explosion bomb at the ready. Homing Bombs and the Power Gloves can still be handy, but just like Hurricommander, there's the risk of him teleporting, and then there's the energy waves you need to jump over and the short-fused bombs to worry about. If possible, try and Homing Bomb him when he's recovering from damage, as he can't teleport then.

Once he is drained of health, he has an ace up his sleeve: Turning into an orb. He still flies around, but now he fires homing beams at you, as well as shooting the occasional electricity. His teleporting is much more sensitive now, so you can either just hope for him to float over an exploding bomb, or throw a Homing Bomb after he teleports or when he's recovering. It shouldn't be too hard.

And with Chaos Bomber defeated, Bomberman can finally return home for reals to put these monsters in prison. Now you can sit back and watch the credits.

After the credits, it automatically saves, and when you come back, Pump is bouncing up and down above your shuttle, but you can't interact with it, nor does it do anything else.
