Field Zone
"This zone is made up of fields and grass bordered by trees. When the game starts, you only have a Normal Bomb. Look for items to power up your firepower here."
Field Zone is the first area you go to, with the Water Commander ruling over it. It consists of areas A1 to C4 with D1 to D3.

[C4] The entrance to the area, there's a fire statue at the bottom, but it won't be removed until the end of the game, where it gives you quick access to the dungeon of the Desert Zone. Dig near the sign for an Explosive Core.
[B4] You'll encounter your first monster here, Ballom, which will give you a Flame once destroyed.
[A4] This houses some ruins. It's worth entering for the Dash Shoes, at least.
[B3] There's a Bomberman Statue you can dance at with the !? item to receive a Stopwatch.
[A3] You can get a Yo-yo from Burol here.
[A2] Archer here attacks you from a break in the land, and gives you a White Card when defeated, but you won't be able to get it without the ability to jump or fly. Come back here after you've been to the Forest Zone and defeated Curansee.
[A1] The second ruins are here. If you use the Teleport Armour, you can get on top and use the Glasses to reveal a treasure chest containing a Clock.
[C3] You get a Landmine here if you defeat Kurin, an item that proves handy numerous times over the game.
[C2] There's a little aquatic mine here which you can't access without the Hammer, Aqua Bomb and preferably Scuba Gear.
[B2] Quenching Blobby here gets you a Rubber.
[B1] A treasure chest here containing Combat Boots can be gotten if you jump or fly up to that ledge.
[C1] You'll get the Tackle Belt if you defeat Borey here.
[D1] Pengy resides here. Dispose of it for a Full Heart.
[D2] Trent is located here, but you'll need the Flak Bomb to beat him. He'll give you the Shield.
[D3] The entrance to the Water Commander's lair! And also a water statue blocking a path that'll lead to the Forest Zone after you finish this section.

[A2] The entrance.
[B2] Some falling rocks here, so either avoid them, wear the Helmet, or use a Stopwatch.
[B1] You'll face Onil here, and defeating him will get you the Dash Shoes.
[C1] Step on the switch so it lowers one pillar, and put on the Steel Shoes to press down the other switch.
[C2] Parse is lurking here, and ending his little life will get you a Flame.

[A1] Stand on the switch, then hit the switch block with the Tackle Belt.
[A2] There's a saw blade going up and down that lower path, so hide in the gaps in the wall or jump over it.
[B2] Keep the switch orange, or else you can't hide in the gaps in the wall in A2.
[A3] Face off against Grein, but you need the Ice Bombs to beat him. When you do, you get the Scuba Gear.

[_] Activate the switch with an Aqua Bomb, and then get the Power Bracelets in the chest.

[C3] The entrance. Water Commander has an amusing dating ad here.
[C2] On the left side, place a bomb by the switch so it pulls down the pillar, and grab the Steel Shoes in the treasure chest.
[C1] Ghostey is here, watch out! Don't. He's harmless, and can't killed until you've got the Power Gloves or Flak Bomb, where he gives you the Safety Shoes.
[B1] There are some swinging balls on those pillars, the left one faster than the right. Careful moving can help you avoid them, or you can just use the Wings when returning.
[A1] The boss room! You'll fight the Water Commander here, and once you put an end to her boyfriend seeking ways, you gain one of your engines, an Explosive Core, and gain an additional unit to your health! Once you beat the next commander, you can return here and fight Mami, a secret boss, for another unit of health.
