Beach Zone

"This zone is covered with water. You'll have to be very careful here - many monsters will hide under the surface and attack you when you least expect it."

Beach Zone is the third area you go to, with the Hurricommander ruling over it. It consists of areas E6 to E8 with F5 to H8.

[F5]    The Gargoyle here gives you the Helmet when beaten, and there's a cave at the bottom right.

[G5]    Getchaself a Boomerang by beating the Gell here.

[G6]    If you dig in the very bottom left (coming in the ground itself and not the platform), you can dig up a Poison Ivy.

[G7]    You have to use the Jump Shoes/Wings to get down or up that ledge. Durr.

[F6]    If you came from G6, fight Krabbler for the Aqua Bomb. If E6, this is the entrance to Hurricommander's lair.

[H6]    Kill Despider for the Hammer. And there's another cave here.

[H7]    Absolutely nothing of interest here.

[H8]    The Glasses reveal a treasure chest with the Gold Armour here.

[G8]    There's a cave here.

[F8]    Club Iceal for an Ice Shard.

[E8]    Gut Puuyan for a Flame.

[E7]    Use the Teleport Armour to enter the water, and digging with the Shovel will unveal a Boomerang.

[F7]    You can use the Scuba Gear or Wings to reach the chest on the island, or you can just lose some health walking across. Contains a Full Heart.

[E6]    The Dragon Pup here has the Full Fire, and the wind statue blocks the path to Desert Zone. Beat Hurricommander to move it.

[H5]    You get here by flying over the gap in H4 (Forest Zone) with the Wings. Dance with !? at the Bomberman statue to get the Teleport Armour.

Cave 1

[_]    You'll need a Speed Bomb and Power Gloves to reach those switches, giving you access to the Lamp in the chest.

Cave 2

[A2]    It's pitch black in this whole cave! That means you'll either have to get the Lamp, or use the Pause Light cheat. Use the Jump Shoes or Wings to get across the gap, and keep using them to the other side of the screen, as landmines are everywhere. If you use the Shovel, places you can't dig contain landmines, so keep that in mind.

[B2]    Use the Dash Shoes or what you used on the previous screen here to get across the collapsing tiles. Bomb the switches to let you get at Seeballon above.

[B1]    And beat Seeballon for a Clock.

Cave 3

[B3]    Hit the switch with the Tackle Belt, and use the Dash Shoes or flies over the collapsing tiles.

[B2]    Radiobomb Jr. holds an Explosive Core.

[A2]    You'll need the Remote Control to clear this puzzle: Place two bombs so one of them will hit the bottom left switches, and the other will activate the top right. Detonate and the pillar is down.

[A1]    Dispose of Matango for the Black Card.

Hurricommander's Lair

[C1]    Pound down the nails with the hammer, and when you come back in from the top of C1, jump across and bomb the switch.

[D1]    Avoid the arrows and go through the upper path to activate the aforementioned switch, then come back and bomb the other switch.

[D2]    You'll get an Armored Jacket for beating up Skullhead.

[C2]    Oh no, boulders! You'll need the Power Bracelets to move them and get to the other side. It should be easy to figure out.

[B2]    Melt Pinokion for the Homing Bomb.

[A2]    Some swinging balls here that you can jump over.

[A3]    There's a chest containing the Remote Control on the other side, but you need the Wings to reach it.

[B3]    Some falling rocks and gaps here. Just to be on the safe side, don your Helmet.

[C3]    Boss room! Face off against the cocky Hurricommander to retrieve your third engine, and get an Explosive Core, and another unit of maximum health. Once Pyro Commander is gone, return to face the last secret boss for another unit of health.
